Humpback Whales

Humpback whales are one of the largest mammals alive. Humpback whales are migratory in many parts of the globe, so you can dive with them in many locations:

  • Desecheo, an island off the west coast of Puerto Rico near Rincon
  • Kai, an area just a bit southeast of Honolulu on the island of O'ahu in the state of Hawaii, United States.
  • Kakaako, also right near Honolulu in the state of Hawaii, United States.
  • Sea Tiger Wreck, a Chinese vessel sunk in the waters off Waikiki in the state of Hawaii, United States.
  • Puako, an area on the northwest end of the big island of Hawai'i in the state of Hawaii, United States.
  • Kona, also on the west end of the island of Hawai'i.
  • Silver Bank in the Dominican Republic
  • Tonga in French Polynesia
  • Morea in French Polynesia

In some cases, they've been known to come in as shallow as 10m to check out the divers.
